Ernesto Sánchez

Ernesto Sánchez Fernández was named the editor of PeopleEnEspanol.com in April 2007. He is responsible for overseeing the magazine’s website including breaking news, content and the site’s redesign.

Prior to joining People en Español, Sánchez was the executive editor of TV Notas. He was responsible for editing the weekly sections of the magazine, while creating new movie and fashion columns. He worked at Univision.com where he held a variety of roles including special contents editor, weekend portal editor and music managing editor. In 2004, Sánchez was editor-in-chief of Mira magazine based in New York City.

Sánchez was born in Mexico and attended the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey where he received a degree in communications in 1996.
