Cristian Castro counters Valeria Liberman’s demands

The singer doesn’t want to give the mother of his children any money which he earned before they were married.

      Unlike his song “Blue,” things between Cristian Castro and Valeria Liberman are getting red hot and reaching a boiling point in their divorce process. The actor has just filed a countersuit in which he demands that his wife return the assets that he earned before they were married as well as the intellectual property rights to his songs.

      TV station Telefutura revealed that in the documents presented by a Miami courthouse, Verónica Castro’s 33-year-old son, is asking that the debts and assets that arose during their marriage be divided equally, but that any money or property acquired before their marriage should be withheld from Liberman.

      The singer assures that before marrying the Argentinean lawyer, he had an apartment and two condominiums in Miami that were sold to buy the mansion in Coco Plum, which is now occupied by Liberman and her children Simone and Mikhail Zaratustra, and thus, the money from that property should belong to him. Cristian also requested in his counterclaim that Liberman present bank and credit cards statements, as well as documents of a music company that they formed during his marriage, through which she handled intellectual property rights of songs written by the singer.

      Liberman filed for divorce from her husband at the beginning of the year on grounds that she was a victim of domestic violence and has strong reasons to question and doubt the singer’s sexual orientation.
