Sofía Vergara will make guest appearance in Fuego en la sangre

The beautiful Colombian actress will join the filming of this popular Mexican soap opera this week

      If there was already passion on the set of the Mexican soap opera Fuego en la sangre, Sofía Vergara's arrival may bring the steamy plot to a boiling point. Producer Salvador Mejía thought the sexy 35-year-old actress would be perfect to play the character he had originally offered to Aracely Arámbula, but she couldn't squeeze into her busy schedule.

      “We're seeing if the possibility of bringing Sofía Vergara fits with [the needs of] this character'', the producer said. If so, Vergara would have to join the cast immediately. “If she's coming, she has to arrive this week because she would already start taping two days from now'', the producer added during a press conference. Mejía explained they had to ask the TV network that has Vergara under an exclusive contract for permission before proceeding.

      Other artists that have been confirmed to make guest appearances in the soap opera include: Niurka, Ernesto Laguardia, Julissa, Rosa Gloria Chagoyán and Silvia Pinal. Pinal will only appear in 10 episodes, but her character will leave a lasting impression.
