      Gael García Bernal will not become a dad any time soon. That is according to a press release put out by Canana Films, a production company founded by the 29-year-old Mexican actor. Pregnancy rumors swirled last week about Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi, also 29, being pregnant with García Bernal’s child.

      “Various publications have claimed that Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi and Gael García Bernal are expecting a baby, which is completely false," stated the press release.

      Canana Films also clarified that, contrary to what has been published by the Argentinean press, there is no romance between the star of The Motorcycle Diaries and Fonzi. The press release made clear “they are only friends who also share a professional relationship."
