Don Omar and Jackie Guerrido: Ready to Say ‘I Do’

      Don Omar and Jackie Guerrido will become husband and wife this Saturday, April 19, in a fairytale wedding that will take place at the Ritz Hotel in Isla Verde, in their native Puerto Rico.

     “God keeps teaching me every day that being a gentleman has its reward. My focus is on working hard, and receiving what God has for me,” the reggaeton singer told Puerto Rican newspaper Primera hora. Don Omar also mentioned that because of the time crunch, he hasn’t had time for a bachelor party.

      The musician is also excited that his mother will be able to witness the big event. “Nothing makes me happier than to have my mom see me at 30 years old, every bit a man, making the serious decision to get married. And to a woman who makes me grow every day as a man and a human being,” he said of his 34-year-old bride-to-be.

      According to the newspaper, the two already have a prenuptial agreement in place. At the ceremony, Guerrido will be given away by salsero and pastor Bobby Cruz. The guest list includes celebrity friends like Don Francisco, Cristina Saralegui, Ivy Queen, Wisin & Yandel, Tego Calderón and Ednita Nazario.
