Don Omar is sure about his choice for the next President of the United States. The reggaeton singer confirmed that he will participate in an upcoming documentary supporting Barack Obama.

"This is an honor for me, because an artist from my genre has been considered to participate in this campaign. I am doing this as the first Latino singer to join his campaign. I took on the responsibility. I don't care what anyone says," he told Puerto Rican publication Primera hora.

The 30-year-old singer said he feels the Democrat's message represents him. "He talks to the United States about change. We don't want war. What the world wants is peace. It's time for a change, and yes, we can do it. I couldn't say no to this opportunity because I’m part of the Latino community," Don Omar said after announcing that he will exercise his right to vote by supporting Obama in the upcoming election.
