In addition to spending time with his 1-year-old son Miguel, Luis Miguel has also been working a lot these last few months. On May 6, the Mexican singer will release Cómplices, a recording that will feature never-before-released material with Spanish composer Manuel Alejandro, who’s written hits for singers like Raphael, Emanuelle, José José and Julio Iglesias, among others.

The record’s first single is called “Si tú te atreves,” “a romantic ballad about intense and impossible love,” the 37-year-old singer’s reps said.

News of the album came just days after it was revealed that the mother of his child, Aracely Arámbula, will be the executive producer and host of the show ¡Viva la familia! de Todobebé, which will air on Univisión.
