Chantal Andere Has a Boyfriend

      Chantal Andere is giving romance another try. After getting divorced from producer Roberto Gómez Fernández in December 2006, the Mexican actress has now confirmed that she has a new boyfriend.

      “I can finally tell you what you all wanted to hear when nothing was going on. I’ve been with Enrique for about a month, and I’m very happy because I think we’re on the right track,” she told the program La oreja (Televisa). Andere, 36, was introduced to her new man, who works in the antiques business, by a mutual friend.

      According to the actress, her love interest had to prove himself before winning her heart. “He won me over by showing me who he is: an intelligent human being, well-educated, hard-working, and comes from a lovely family,” she gushed. “I’m in a great stage of my life. After five years of working, I’ve been off for the last month and a half. I’m giving myself time for me,” she added.
