Thalía Had Her First Baby Shower

      Members of Thalía's fan club, Mundo de Cristal, threw her first baby shower this past weekend in México.

      Although she wasn't there, Mexican singer-actress Thalía chatted with her fans on the phone, thanking them for their support.

      "I want to thank you, with all my heart, for getting together to celebrate on my behalf, and that I am here, all alone, listening on the phone to the huge party you have going on over there for the baby," said the 35-year old mom-to-be.

      The fans partied amidst balloons, posters of Thalía, gifts and lots of music. Listening to the huge party in her honor, Tommy Mottola's wife expressed her emotion and affection to her fan club: "I love you all, and I want to tell you that I'm super excited, and that the greatest thing in world is happening to me right now. There's nothing greater than what is happening in my life today."

      This is the first of four baby showers scheduled to take place for the "¿A quién le importa?" singer.
