Salma Hayek: I Don’t Need to Get Married

      Marrying fiancé François-Henri Pinault doesn’t seem to be Salma Hayek’s top priority right now. In the latest issue of Glamour, the Mexican actress shows off her slim post-baby body on the cover and talks about her relationship with the multi-millionaire French businessman.

      "Right now I am just enjoying my baby," the 41-year-old actress explained. "Do I think we are going to get married? Probably. Will it make a difference? I hope not. I don’t have a need for marriage. You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children – we have all those things. Some people need the commitment.” She then added: “Maybe we’ll just make the party!”

      Last March, Hayek announced that she and Pinault, 44, were engaged and expecting a child. It was previously rumored that the couple would get married last summer before the arrival of little Valentina Paloma, but now we better understand why that didn’t happen.
