Dayanara Torres and Amaury Nolasco Break Up

      Dayanara Torres and Amaury Nolasco are no longer together. In an official statement, the former Miss Universe and the actor told our website exclusively that they have broken up.

      “After being together for a year, we have decided to end our relationship. We will always have a lovely friendship and share great love and respect for each other,” the couple announced.

      Rumors that Torres, 32, and Nolasco, 36, were seeing each other began when the two walked the red carpet together at various events in Miami and Los Angeles. Torres confirmed their relationship to Peopleenespanol.com in July 2007. “He’s a really sweet guy. I’m happy. We get along really, really well. He’s Puerto Rican, so we speak the same language. It’s a different thing,” Marc Anthony’s ex-wife said at the time.

      The couple opted to keep a low profile after confirming their romance, but they couldn’t escape the paparazzi flash on various romantic getaways, including trips to the Dominican Republic and Paris.
