Paulina Rubio’s Father-in-Law Dies

      José Ignacio Vallejo-Nágera, father of Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera and father-in-law of Paulina Rubio, died unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack on New Year’s Eve, hola.com reported. The couple was vacationing when they heard the bad news. They immediately went to Madrid to attend the wake and funeral.

      The Mexican singer, 36, never left her husband's side while at the Tres Cantos funeral home in the Spanish capital, where family and friends held vigil for Nágera on Tuesday. Rubio consoled her husband during yesterday’s cremation.

      Nágera, an engineer, had the heart attack during a stroll with his wife, María del Mar, at the Baqueira Beret ski resort in Spain.
