Poncho Herrera Back to the Big Screen

The RBD member is starting a new project, the film Volverte a ver

      After acting in the 2002 flick Amar te duele, Alfonso “Poncho” Herrera is making a big-screen return with the new movie Volverte a ver, directed by Gustavo Garzón.

      During a press conference in Mexico, the singer, 24, said he’s excited for his new role as the character Pablo, adding that the project won’t interfere with any of his prior commitments with the band.

      According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, the film will be filmed in Mexico and Argentina, and will also star Bolivian actress Ximena Herrera, along with Mexican actors Mónica Huarte and Eduardo Manzano. Amar te duele is scheduled to hit theaters towards the end of 2008.
