![]() Manuel Ávila Camacho CLASOS/JPISTUDIOS.COM Doctor Guillermo Amaro told Mexican newspaper El Universal that the controversial commentator had been in good health, and that the massive heart attack took his life quickly. “He was in perfect health, he didn’t have any discomfort…He was a healthy man,” the doctor expressed. In an interview with the program Primero noticias (Galavisión), Amaro said he was speaking calmly with the journalist moments before he died. “It was a sudden thing, he just told me ‘it hurts,’ then said nothing more,” explained the doctor, who said that he immediately hung up the phone and headed for Ávila Camacho’s house. “When I got to the house, I saw that the person who was taking care of him was massaging [his heart], but Manuel had already died…I couldn’t do anything.” Ávila Camacho took part in the program Todo para la mujer. He was also the nephew of former Mexican President Manuel Ávila Camacho, and an intimate friend of actresses María Félix and Dolores del Río. |
