The Mexican actress visited and honored the NYPD police station before receiving an award from organization Casita María

During the visit, the “Ten paciencia” singer, 37, talked to the boys in blue and recognized their tireless effort in helping to keep the city safe. She also took various pictures with them and signed autographs.
After the event, the wife of Tommy Mottola was honored at a party organized by Casita María, which is dedicated to help impoverished immigrant communities. At the Mandarin Oriental in New York, the singer received the gold medal of honor for her humanitarian work and her contribution in maintaining Hispanic culture alive in the U.S.
Touched by the honor, the singer thanked the organization and mingled with the other invited guests, including Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universo, and Pepita Serrano, president of the International Society of Mexican Artists.
