Aleks Syntek’s Father Dies

Mexican singer Aleks Syntek is mourning the death of his father, Raúl Alfonso Escajadilla, who passed away at age 75. It’s possible that the news was confirmed by the artist himself in a text message he sent to a radio show.

According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, the musician attended a religious ceremony honoring his deceased father. Synteks could have been the one who sent a text confirming the death to the radio program OK! W, hosted by Javier Poza. The cause of Escajadilla’s death and where he will be buried are still unknown to the public.

The 38-year-old artist recently gave a press conference to announce his participation in a promotional soda campaign marketed to young people; the winner will be given a new apartment. As part of the campaign, Syntek is scheduled to give a concert this Monday in Mexico City.
