Victoria Ruffo's Father Dies in Mexico

Ramón Martínez Río passed away Friday morning; the actress came in from Colombia for the emergency

According to La oreja (Televisa), Victoria Ruffo's father passed away today (Friday) in Mexico City. The actress, 45, left Colombia, where she was working on a telenovela, to go to Mexico for the emergency.

Ramón Martínez Río died at 7:30 a.m., and a wake is being held for his body south of the Mexican capital. He will be cremated tomorrow at noon. The actress hasn't yet released a statement to the press.

Ruffo was previously married to comedian Eugenio Derbez, with whom she has a son. The actress is currently married to Mexican politician of Lebanese descent, Omar Fayad. The two are parents of twins.
