The actress reacts to her son who blamed her for being "a bastard"

The seesawing arguments between Verónica Castro and her son Cristian never stop. After the singer deemed himself a bastard for having grown up without a father, the actress called for him to stop blaming everyone else.

"It makes me laugh; it seems like an old novel. Don't blame the parents. I didn't have a dad, and I turned out fine," she declared to the press. The actress, 54, didn't dig into the reasons for her estrangement from her son, as days back she mentioned that if she said what really happened, the singer's career would sink.

"That's as much as I'm going to say, and I've told the truth. I've told the truth, for what it's worth. Valeria and Cristian can say what happened, the reason that I don't see them. Hopefully they'll stop lying and saying that it's just because I don't like [Valeria] that I don't see my granddaughter," she said.
