The actress married in a civil ceremony in front of a bunch of famous friends

After dating for six months, actress Sara Maldonado and filmmaker Billy Rovzar got married yesterday in a civil ceremony. Their post-wedding bash boasted the presence of celebrity friends like Bárbara Mori, Juan Osorio, Arleth Therán, Juan Soler and his wife Maki, among others.

The newlyweds tied the knot at the Polyforum Theater, south of Mexico City. They added a fun twist by asking their 600 guests to come to the event dressed like rock stars, but a lot of guests didn't follow the rule. At midnight, Maldonado, 27, and Rovzar, 31, left the party to spend a few minutes talking to the press.

The Tormenta en el paraíso star had previously expressed her uncertainty about the union, but she changed her mind when her Rovzar expressed that he didn't want the actress to be just another girlfriend in his life.
