A source told a New York newspaper that François-Henri Pinault is the father of the Canadian model's child

According to the New York Post, Salma Hayek's fiancé, François-Henri Pinault, 45, could have fathered the child that Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista had last year.

When Evangelista, 42, gave birth to Augustin James in October 2006, she mentioned no names as to the boy's father, saying only that he was an architect in New York. But a source told the Post that the baby's dad is the future husband of the Mexican actress, who in September welcomed their daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, to the world.

The model's agent, Didier Fernández, denied the allegations. "Not true. She has never said who the father is," he said.
