Pedro Damián chooses singer Pee Wee for soap role

The ex Kumbia King will play the lead in a teen soap, and although he's never acted before, "he's got natural talent."

Fans of singer Pee Wee are about to see the artist in a very different role, because producer of Mexican soaps Pedro Damián is working on the final details so that the El show de los sueños (Show of Dreams) star, 19, can be part of his cast.

"Pee Wee is not a trained actor, however, he's a singer and knows how to perform, and when he auditioned for a role that is very similar to his own personality, he did great, so I don't think there will be a problem," said the well-known producer to Televisa Espectáculos.

The producer of RBD also explained that the "Mi dulce niña" singer will not have to put his musical obligations aside to shoot the soap.

Although Pee Wee has not confirmed that he's taking on the role, all signs point to yes.
