Paulina Rubio Reunites with Timbiriche

For one night only, the Golden Girl rejoined her six former bandmates

For one night only, the dream of Timbiriche fans came true. In Mexico City, Paulina Rubio hit the stage with the band that saw her birth as an artist, thus reuniting briefly with the other six members of the group: Erick, Mariana, Sasha, Álix, Diego and Benny. The 36-year-old singer exclaimed: "Thank you for loving us so much, for always being with us, and this wouldn't be possible without you all. I've been given the opportunity to be here today, and for me it's an honor to be with my bandmates who look even better than a few years ago. Congratulations to you all! I love you!"

The Golden Girl shared the stage with the contestants of Buscando a Timbiriche, la nueva banda (Univisión), singing "Acelerar." She also performed "Ni una sola palabra," a song from her most recent album, Ananda.

The night was sprinkled with moments of tension, surprises and excitement, as the hostess revealed the results of the competition: Brisa came in first place and Fernanda in second place. Others didn't have such a lucky night, as Fabián was sent off. The show ended with the song "Timbiriche," which was sung by the original members of the group.
