Paulina Rubio: "I'm Not Pregnant"

The Mexican singer said she'll perform at next Sunday's show with Timbiriche and halted rumors of her supposed state

At next Sunday's celebration of the 25th anniversary of Timbiriche, Paulina Rubio will share a Mexico City stage with members of the group that witnessed her birth as an artist.

According to the Mexican paper El Universal, the 36-year-old songstress expressed excitement for the chance to reunite with her former colleagues: Benny, Sasha, Mariana, Erik, Diego and Álix. But she also pointed out that this would be her only show with the group, at least for the rest of the year, since she has a jam-packed work schedule.

The Golden Girl clarified that she hadn't finalized the details of the show with Timbiriche until now as a result of her Apr. 30 wedding with Spanish businessman Nicolás Vallejo-Nájera, and because of her album Amor, luz y sonido.

The show will be organized by the brothers Santiago and Rubén Galindo, producers of the program Buscando a Timbiriche. La nueva banda (Univisión), who are finalizing negotiations with the "Ni una sola palabra" singer.

According to reports, the also actress took advantage of the opportunity to put down rumors of her supposed pregnancy. She stated that she'd like to spend at least a year with her new husband before becoming a mom. "Right now we have a lot of professional plans, hope to travel and to be together," she added.
