Pablo Montero Will Appear at Toronto Concert Instead of Court

For the sake of his Canadian fans, the singer will give the performance. His lawyer will represent him in court

Fans of Pablo Montero, rest easy. The singer will be at his Sept. 21 live performance in Toronto, Canada, just as scheduled.

In a press release, his legal representative Howard M. Srebnick explained that the also actor, 38, will not physically appear in the Florida Court, as the appearance falls on the same day of the concert.

"Pablo will be represented by my person. While I'm working diligently on his case, we're optimistic that Pablo will continue with his work, which includes concerts in the United States, Latin America and the rest of the world. We will keep the prosecutor's office informed as to Pablo's travels in order to avoid scheduling conflicts," the lawyer remarked.

Pablo Montero, whose real name is Óscar Daniel Hernández, was arrested Aug. 31 in South Beach, FL, for imprudent driving and possession of a bag of cocaine.
