Musician Moisés Arellanez Fausto was shot in the head on Monday in Mexico City; he 's in stable condition

Moisés Arellanez Fausto, the saxophonist for the band Montez de Durango, when he was shot in the head by an unidentified person in a black SUV in Mexico City.

According to El Universal, the shot penetrated his temporal lobe and went through the malar region. The musician–who is the only group member that lives in Mexico City– is in stable condition.

The authorities yet to uncover the motive for the attack.
