Ludwika Paleta and Plutarco Haza officially split up

The couple announced that they've gone their separate ways, and have asked the press to respect their privacy for the sake of their child

After months of being on the outs Ludwika Paleta and her husband, Plutarco Haza, announced that they were separated, and without giving any details, they said the most important thing for them to focus on right now is their son, Nicholas.

"We've decided to separate for some time now," said the actress, 29, and the actor, 35, who were married for nine years.

"This will be the first and only time we talk about this, and ask that people respect our privacy, in the best interest of our son," they said.

Paleta and Haza, who separated briefly in 2002, started having problems when photos were leaked of Haza being affectionate with another woman. Soon thereafter, Duelo de pasiones actress was seen kissing singer Pablo Montero in a restaurant.
