The relationship between Laura Flores and Roberto Romagnoli, the Mexican TV producer of Hoy (Televisa), who was also the godfather of the actress' son, Alejandro, has finally come to an end.

La oreja reported that, despite the breakup, the couple ended on good terms.

"Unfortunately, I regret that our relationship was made public, because the press gets so involved," said the 45-year-old, who added that there was some sadness to the whole breakup. "Yes...we went out separate ways."

"There's no fighting or hard feelings. I'm a very positive person. He's a marvelous person, and I'm very grateful to him, as are my kids. He's a true gentleman, and I wish him the best."
