Journalist Fabián Lavalle Attacked

The host of Con todo (Galavisión) was found bound and bleeding in front of his hotel

Fabián Lavalle, host of the show Con todo (Galavisión), was found this morning in front of his hotel in Mexico City with his hands and feet bound and bruises on his bleeding face.

According to a report from journalist Carmen Aristegui on the radio program Hoy por hoy (MVS), Lavalle, 57, was partially naked and had bruises all over his body.

The journalist was immediately taken to a hospital in Mexico City, where he was reported to be in stable condition. Lavalle lost some teeth fragments as a result of the attack.

According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, police arrested Alfredo Cervantes Landa, 42, for the assault. He was sent to the prosecutor's office for theft and physical injuries done to Lavalle.
