Joel Lizárraga welcomes a son

The clarinetist from Banda El Recodo and his wife welcome Diego Joel

Joel Lizárraga, the clarinetist of Banda El Recodo, became a father for the second time. His wife, Gabriela Testas, gave birth to a baby boy Diego Joel, in Mazatlán, México. The baby was born under cesarean, and weighed 7 and a half pound, coming in at 19.6 inches.

The musician accompanied his wife to the hospital at 5 a.m., and three hours later, Diego Joel gave his first breath. This is the first son for Testas, and the second for the musician, who has another child from a previous relationship.

Lizárraga is celebrating twice over, since next week he'll be in Las Vegas, NV, to perform with Banda El Recodo and Don Cruz Lizárraga who will be immortalized on the city's Walk of Fame.

Diego was born 10 months after the couple got married in a lavish wedding in Mazatlán this past December.Congrats!
