Itatí Cantoral angry with Eduardo Santamarina about revealing the sex of her baby

The actor innocently commented that his former wife was expecting a girl, thus ruining the exclusivity that the actress and him had agreed upon

For Eduardo Santamarina, a minor revelation turned into a major insult, according to Itatí Cantoral who felt like he offended her and her wallet. Excited about the good new, the Yo Amo a Juan Querendón (Univisión)actor publicly announced that Contoral was expecting a girl.

The bomb exploded when Cantoral found out what he'd said, and then she demanded that Santamarina pay for the exclusivity fee she was going to receive from a Mexican magazine before he spilled the beans.

"I wanted to put an ad in the Periférico, and they were even going to give me some money, but that's a bust now. In truth Televisa had the exclusive rights. So, now it's a girl! Pay me, pay me, pay me!" said the actress on La Oreja (Televisa).

Now that the cat's out of the bag, Itatí didn't hold back in revealing the name she's chosen for her daughter. "I'm going to name her María Itatí. See, I'm even giving it to you for free," quipped the actress, who rounds out the cast of the TV series Mujeres asesinas, marking her return to television.
