Fernando del Rincon was diagnosed with cancer afterall

The organization Parents Against Cancer dispelled rumors that the TV host pretends to be ill to distract the media from his scandalous divorce

After the media assured that Fernando del Rincón announced he was diagnosed with Cancer to steer attention away from his nasty divorce with Carmen Dominicci and garner sympathy, the organization Parents against Cancer, has come to his defense.

"It is the Parents against Cancer's responsibility to assure that all the information about the organization and its patients is accurate. Fernando del Rincón was diagnosed with bladder cancer in May 2008, and fortunately the tumor was removed successfully," said Elvia Barboa, president of the cancer organization.

"If the media prints erroneous information about Fernando del Rincón's diagnosis, then they are discrediting Parents Against Cancer and the 23 years this organization has served the cancer community," added Barboa.
