The actress hit the Aztec capital to participate in the event Fashion Mexico Spring-Summer 2008

Actress of Mexican descent Eva Longoria arrived in Mexico City on Wednesday to act as the image of the event Fashion Mexico Spring-Summer 2008.

"I'm here for a party, an event in Mexico, just for a day. I have to go back to work," said the costar of Desparate Housewives (ABC), according to Televisa Espectáculos.

The wife of basketball star Tony Parker is also a representative of an automobile company that sponsors the important fashion event in Mexico.

"I love Mexico. I love Mexico City," Longoria expressed before climbing into the car that was waiting for her. Once in the car, she rolled down the window to say goodbye to the press.
