The actor admits he made a mistake when he revealed that his ex was expecting a girl, but assures he had no bad intentions.

"I'm really sorry, believe me, if I jumped the gun. I didn't say it to hurt anyone, but because I was excited by the news, and if I was responsible for making things difficult for you, Itatí, then forgive me," said the 39-year-old star of Yo amo a Juan querendón on Televisa Espectáculos.
"It's not mine, I'm not here for publicity, nor do I need the gossip," said the sentimental ex of the El Alma Herida actress, who assured he did not mean to hurt her intentionally.
Itatí emerged annoyed a few days ago when Santamarina announced on a TV program that he was pleased the actress was expecting a girl, not knowing that the she was keeping the sex of her baby a secret. She didn't hide her anger when she said that her former husband had ruined her chances of selling the exclusive story to a magazine.
