Dayanara Explains Why She Hired A Former JLo Assistant

In a press release, the former Miss Universe puts all the rumors about her hiring decision to bed

In the last few days, rumors have swirled around the former Mrs.Marc Anthony's hiring of an assistant who used to work for Jennifer López. Now, Dayanara Torres has decided to clear the air through a press release that explains why she hired Tiana Ríos, who is also a cousin of the Bronx diva.

"As a professional working in the entertainment industry, I employed Tiana as my assistant because she is responsible, professional and attentive," says the 32 year-old former Miss Universe. "She has been working for me, showing her professional capacity, for over a year. I have found her to be trustworthy."

In the press release, the former wife of singer Marc Anthony, adds: "Besides having a fantastic working relationship, we have close friends [in common]. It's important to me, as a working mother, to have someone who adores my children. My family and I adore Tiana very much."
