Spears, 25, was seen driving with her kids in the backseat of her white Mercedes this weekend in Studio City, CA. A supposed court-appointed monitor was in the front seat.
L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon had temporarily revoked her visitation rights on Wednesday. A court document revealed that "[Spears's] visitation with the minor children is suspended pending [her] compliance with court orders." According to PEOPLE, a source close to Spears said the judge made the order because the pop star couldn't be reached by cell phone while in her Malibu home.
Mark Vincent Kaplan, the lawyer for Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline, said Friday that he expected that the songstress would see her children soon. "She has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension]. I expect that visitation will be reinstated," the lawyer told PEOPLE.
Spears and Federline will both have to appear in court on Oct. 26 to continue the custody battle.
