Angélica Vale's Mom Says Manny Pérez Just Wants Publicity

Angélica María insisted that the actor is using her daughter for fame

After Angélica Vale, 32, told a magazine she was dating actor Manny Pérez, 38, and he confirmed it to People en Espanol.com, the La fea más bella star's mom shared her opinion on the matter, and she didn't mince words.

"No, she doesn't have a boyfriend. I think this kid [Manny Pérez] is using her for publicity, because it's not true," the 63-year-old actress told La oreja (Televisa) when asked if her daughter was going out anyone.

And in regards to the supposed couple being seen together, the also singer retorted: "They were together at one awards show, they told them 'eat dinner here, we're going to take some photos of you,' they were cute together at dinner. The girl when back to her house, the boy went to his, they never saw each other again, and the boy says he wants to marry her; he found a strong and fashionable young woman to get him publicity."

Angélica María added that young men pretend to be her daughter's boyfriends "every five minutes...it makes her laugh." We wonder how Vale feels about her mom's comments...
