A Spanish court has ordered the tabloid El Mundo to pay 30 thousand euros ($43.9 thousand) to Alejandro Sanz for reporting that the singer was involved in a gay with a fashion designer.

The court, who held the paper and the journalist, Carmen Rigalt, liablie, said it was illegal to defame someone's personal and private life.
